Week 8 (wk beg 01.03.21)

Happy last week of home-schooling everyone!

I cannot even begin to explain how incredibly PROUD I (and all the staff!) are of you! You have shown all our school values, especially perseverance and resilience. You have worked so hard despite everything covid has thrown at us and I cannot wait to see your faces in the classroom again!

We have lots of fun bits planned to make sure you enjoy your last week of home-schooling - make sure you keep an eye on the website as there are ethos activities to complete every afternoon this week, as well as World Book Day on Thursday! Start getting those costumes ready!

Ethos Week Activities:

This week we are celebrating the term 'achieve' through a number of exciting activities!

Please follow the achieve plan where you will find a number of tasks to work through during the afternoon across the week.

You will study a book called 'The Dot' by Peter Reynolds and study the famous artist George Seurat. By the end of the week, you will be creating or have created a lovely piece of art that you will bring into school next week.

We shall put these pieces of art together to create one big masterpiece and celebrate how even though we've been apart, we've been together in spirit and can achieve big things when we collaborate together.

If you have any questions or queries about the afternoon tasks, please don't hesitate to contact your class teacher through the class email address.

If you need a printed copy of the art templates, you will find these on the school gate in a poly pocket. Please only make this journey if it is essential due to the current lockdown restrictions.

I really hope you enjoy the activities and I can't wait to see your finished pieces of art.

Mrs Winstanley.
