Welcome to week 7's learning tasks. You will find below the English, Maths and wider curriculum learning for this week.
As always children should be doing English and Maths daily, and choosing one activity from the wider curriculum grid (and no, it can't be the same 'Joe Wickes' workout every day, although some of you might be doing that every day anyway!)I have uploaded the suggested timetable again, as a guide.
I'm still expecting you to be reading for AT LEAST 10 minutes every day (don't forget to put it in your reading record book, or make a note of it), and you should all be practising your number bonds and times tables every day too, improving your random mental recall.
Have a great week!
Click below for this week's tasks which are all linked to the under-sea world. You will be revising some the grammar you have learned so far in year 2.
The tasks are broken down into days and contain the resources needed including any web-links. The primary text about whales is there too, contained in separate file.
Year 2 - Whales
Below is the file for this week's English tasks, all about non-fiction texts and their features.
The file is broken down into days and the task and resources are all there for each day.
