Rememberance Day service

Lady Seaward's held their annual Remembrance Service last Friday 10th th November at Clyst St George Church . Each class showed their own tribute of respect and remembrance with performances of poetry, singing and artwork. A highlight was the emotional performance of 'Seven Sisters' by our year 6 pupils accompanied by Mr Modger Taylor on the guitar which captured the significance and huge importance of remembering those who had sacrificed so much across the conflicts.

The service also saw everyone show their respect by holding two minutes silence after an insightful explanation of the history of the last post by our special guest Reverend John who was joined by our local Reverend Sid Humphries who read the poem of 'The Fallen.'

As part of the service all pupils who represent local organisation such as Beavers, Brownies, Scouts, Guides or Cadets attended school wearing their uniform for that day as another example of remembrance and respect.

Thank you to all of those who joined us for the service.
